    The American-Lights® UV air cleaner is tested and certified by the Underwriter Laboratories (UL) for multi-volt applications at 120/240/277V, 50/60Hz in the USA and Canada without any further modifications. The file number under which UL conducted the testing and certification is E42012. The health aspects associated with the use of this product and its ability to aid in disinfection of environmental air has not been investigated by UL. This fixture is designed for use with germicidal lamps and must be installed in compliance with competent technical directions so the user's eye and bare skin will not be subjected to ultraviolet rays.

    The automatic electronic ballast is designed to deliver maximum UV radiance and reliability while suppressing noise. Other UV lamps are not compatible and may damage the ballast and void the warranty.
